This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

• Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
• Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
• Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.

Finn, you know that you're the first person to reach 1000 followers without reaching the Who to Follow page?

Congrats! Also... I noticed your age changed recently and discovered you had a birthday. Happy birthday! I too was born on May 5th . Here is a complete list of the other less important things than us that have occurred on the 5th of may

THis is Cinco De Mayo in Mexico, and Children's day in Korea.

Ya. :D

- 6 years, 11 months ago

That's awesome! Naturally, as soon as I turn 13 (which legally allows me to be on Brilliant... Oops) @Bradan Litzinger changes the required age to 14. That really is unfortunate.

Thanks! :D

- 6 years, 11 months ago

Oh @Calvin Lin have you seen my set Difficult problems which need ratings!? Some of those problems have existed for weeks and haven't gotten ratings. What's up with that?

- 6 years, 10 months ago

No problem and congratulations!!! 1000 followers is a milestone. I am almost there. I see you put a smiley face next to me and David. Because we are too young for Brilliant?:D

- 6 years, 11 months ago

aah 1000 followers.....i also wanted that many

- 6 years, 11 months ago

You're getting there! :D

- 6 years, 11 months ago

I am very far

- 6 years, 11 months ago

I am even further... Sigh. Just 22 people... I guess it's bcos I never spend enough time on Brilliant to post problems and other things, just barely enough time to keep up my (small-ish) streak and solve about 1 to 2 problems. So it's natural that people don't notice me... :(

- 6 years, 11 months ago

But at least I manage to reshare any good stuff I see

- 6 years, 11 months ago

I've been following you since like, forever! :D

- 6 years, 11 months ago

Thanks... Oh, and someone just un-followed me, making 21. Haha

- 6 years, 11 months ago

I hate when people do that. D:

- 6 years, 11 months ago

But at least my exams are almost done now, and pretty soon I should get my freedom back and get to spend the whole day on Brilliant YAY :D

- 6 years, 11 months ago

I came up with the ideas for my newest problems during an exam ( I finished it and I didn't have anything to do ) :)
