Hi everyone,
I'm Sue Khim, co-founder and CEO of Brilliant.org. I'm writing this note because Brilliant is hiring educators who are passionate about helping students excel in math and science.
The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for writing interesting problems and articles to entertain, inspire, and provoke the curiosity of high school and college students who like math and science. The position is a combination of original writing and editing of others' work. This person would also help maintain a friendly and stimulating community on Brilliant, by interacting with moderators, participating in solution discussions, and providing feedback on member-contributed problems and wikis.
Your work will impact a community of 1.4 million members that is growing rapidly.
To those who are amiable and talented, Brilliant.org offers:
Relocation to San Francisco is preferable, although we can be flexible with regard to location on a case-by-case basis. Positions are available for each subject on Brilliant. We are accepting resumes and an informal paragraph or two to introduce yourself at jobs@brilliant.org.
Please pass this along to colleagues you believe would find this opportunity exciting.
Regards,
Sue Khim
Easy Math Editor
This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

You don't even need to ask !!
Just imagine that you get to solve questions on B'ant everyday and get to improve the conditions here and the best part of it ? You'll even be paid for it !
Now that's what I call paradise on Earth !
The friendliest person on B'ant is undoubtedly @Brian Charlesworth sir . He never refuses/ignores requests seeking help , directed towards him .
Brian sir , I know that you don't want to teach , but this job doesn't require you to teach .Just go over this ....

Fifty years ago I would have very interested in the job you describe however your timing is just a little off! You see I am 73 years old and to be quite frank I don't feel that I am physically able to take you up on the offer. Otherwise I would love to work for you. I love math and science and I have a great page on Facebook that is dedicated to solving problems from Brilliant.com. ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/315956575254641/). The page has not been as successful I have wanted it to be but it's lot of fun. I volunteer at a local High school tutoring math and chemistry. Love the kids and it's very rewarding.

Ms. Khim,
I thank you for the offer and for including me in the search. I am very interested in the position you described. Math is not only a passion for me but a complete hobby. Fun, interesting, and enjoyable problems are what I look forward to every time I glance at my phone or sign in to the site. To know that I would be bringing the same enjoyment and problem solving to other people would be both honorable and prideful. I look forward to any further information that you could pass on. Thank you for your time.

I've been a fan of Brilliant since it was just a set of 5 problems in each topic area every week. I remember trying so hard to collect points to get that free T-shirt, but I didn't get enough in time before you changed the site layout. I was so miffed -- I wanted that T-shirt! I grew to love the new site, though, especially since it meant anyone could submit problems. I love doing these problems and writing solutions, and I suppose I'll need to start submitting more problems to buff up my Brilliant resume. I have a couple of years of experience teaching mathematics at all levels from elementary to college, but working at Brilliant seems like a dream job to me. Consider me interested!

Ms. Kim, I would like to thank you for your email. I am excited about the prospects.
From what you are saying, you have a wonderful platform to build excellence in math and science on. I have long wished to be able to work with a writing team to construct a new approach to learning math. It sounds like Brilliant could where the action is.
I would like to pursue this further. Thank you again.

Dear Ms. Khim,
Thank you very much for your email regarding a position. At present, I am not in a position to give this option a consideration. I may be in a better position to give this my attention after a year or two. I like science and math and am quite interested. At present, I teach architecture and architectural structures, hence i very much appreciate the skills of math, science, and logic that your wonderful site puts to test through its various quizzes.
i hope to keep in touch bronne

Dear Khim! My USA addresses are '98074' or '77433'. However I had come to India on Dec 1st. Due to some reasons I could not return to US & my India address is Delhi - 110085 This is why I am late in reply. I am very much interested in Brilliant & attempting the problems regularly. I am BE, ME - Gold medalist, Ph.D in Engg., strong in Science, Mathematical & Engineering problems with a total teaching Experience of about 51 years. If you feel I can be part of your team, please do consider. However it seems difficult to relocate to SFO

I would like to thank you for the email. I consider it very flattering, intriguing and certainly unexpected.
The offer is compelling and interesting but not going to be something I can consider because of my involvement in other activities. I am a farmer/farm manager and as such am tied to the location where I reside for most of the year. I do have considerable time available in the winter months and very much enjoy Brilliant, org. I am now starting the busy season on the farm and may not find the time to contribute for a few months.
With regards to further participation in Brilliant.org I do have a number of other problems that I think may be interesting to some and will likely post more when time permits.

Its a lovely offer. I always wanted to work for such an organisation spreading the beauty of science and maths but currently i am not in a position to work because i have to pursue my higher studies. Anyways i will be looking forward for such brilliant opportunities in the coming future. I will surely apply for a job in brilliant after my studies if it has any empty post. Any ways thank you so much @Suyeon Khim !!!!!
