# Brilliant Level Colors

I believe this was mentioned earlier but the Search Function isn't helping me so it must have been deleted. The new Brilliant coloring scheme for levels looks a bit ... how should I say it? ... Dull? Also, there seems to be little distinction between Levels 3, 4, and 5. If I am really careful, I can make out. Otherwise, it's pretty hart. Also, the levels on the profile display have been made tiny. I liked the big blocked display earlier.

Also, the Green Level 4 and the Bright Blue Level 5 seemed way more exciting than almost-blue purple and almost-purple blue. Also, Levels 1, 2, and 3 are easily mixupable.

Anybody agree?

That's right, the old-fashioned red, brown, yellow, green and blue is even easier to distinguish, but now, it's rather confusing.

The colors look sad- blue, purple, etc. also like night colors. I liked the vibrant spectrum of the earlier colors.

Common people, learn to live with changes, it would be dull if nothing ever changed.

That's not the point of this thread ... Also, seeing the number of upvotes on this thread, it seems like people agree with me here.

That's because there's no "DOWNVOTE" button.

Hi guy's, here is the old discussions about level colors

In general, we actually switched to the new color scheme to make the levels less distinct from each other to reflect the reality that there is an extensive amount of overlap in levels on Brilliant, and that problem solving happens along a gradient of difficulty. In the new scheme the level colors fall along a spectrum going from hotter to cooler tones.

Excellent!

I disagree with the mixupable part; for me it's easier to remember since the colours now follow the rainbow :)

Shouldn't it be Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Purple then?
