# Brilliant Practise Section

I believe that the Practise section of Brilliant should be modified. Here are just a few "problems"

1) Solutions cost points + Problems can result in point gain: Note that the practise section is not supposed to be for gaining/losing points, but simply for practise.

2) Problem "styles" do not vary: Problems of a particular section are of the same style; there are 3-4 styles per section. I believe that a greater variety of problems should be added.

3) No "problem solving" problems are present: Problems such as brilliant's challenges should be added to the practise section, possibly under the section "Olympiad". This would be good practise for anyone who does not want to practise algebra.

4) The practise section offers solely algebra: More topics, such as geometry, number theory, and combinatorics, should be added.

Feel free to argue against/for any of these ideas, or add your own ideas to improve Brilliant's practise section.

I hope that Brilliant will take this, and any other requests, into consideration.

Thanks!

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

• Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
• Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
• Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.

Yes i agree that Brilliant could include an Olympiad Practice instead of simply Algebra practices.
