can someone please explain for me the theory of relativity in an easy way??

do you know at what state of motion are you at this moment?You may be sitting in front of your PC,i.e. at rest but with respect to what ?You are at rest relative to your PC or someone moving around you.Your condition relative to your surroundings determines your state of motion.Practically you never know whether you are at rest or in motion.That's what theory of relativity deals with.
