I don't think a popular discussion is needed. You will have to reach an amount(I don't know the exact number) of people.

Thanks!

Also, like Vinod Kumar, hasn't posted any problems or notes yet, but his solutions gave him a contributions page.

So, one must reach an amount of people to have a contributions page, not nessecarily have to have problems, notes, or solutions.

What does reach mean?

For example, if you reach 50K people, it means 50000 people has viewed your problems, solutions, or notes.

@X X – Oh

I finally got a contributions page!

Congratulations!

Congratulations from me, too!

Ram Mohith got his Contributions page around 120 upvotes, around 300 solvers, around 30 views for my notes.
