We will be working on ways for you to edit your problem. In the meantime, you can send me an email with the updated version, or just make another post.

Your problem is quite badly phrased, and prone to misinterpretation. I believe what you mean is that you get to choose the values of \(a\) and \(b\). For example, 5 is not replaced by \(2.5^2\) and \(2 \times 3 \) at the same time.
