How to find the number of real and distinct roots of a function and if possible how to find these roots? Give an example. Find the number of real and distinct roots of the function f(x) => x^8 + x^7 + x^5 + x^4 + 5 x + 8 = 0

i think it has relation with the Descartes Rule of signs, but it's hard to find the roots.
