Here are some possibilities

• Find an interesting problem that you like, and change some of the values. Can you make a similar problem?
• Start drawing some diagrams and see where that goes. Can you get a geometry problem? What about an algebra problem?
• What is your favorite theorem? Can you come up with a question that uses it?
• What problem were you stuck on last month? What made it hard for you?

Take a look at the Number Theory Skill Map, find a particular skill / wiki article that you find interesting and get started from there!
