hcv for physics (compulsary), resnik halliday doesnt focus too much on iitjee ,if u want below a rank below 500 then solve irdov along with hcv,

use cengege publication books . They are good. At first do not jump to arihant for maths. resnick and halliday is a good book for physics but H C V is better for chemistry RCM is quantitatively good .

Moreover, you may also purchase the study material of resonance for preparation.

I think these much of books for JEE preparation would be enough (or even more than that).

Remember JEE is not at all easy. But it's not too difficult even, if you try hard.

All the best!

Hi! Avn Bha, even I have started my JEE preparation. How it is going so far?

- 2 years, 11 months ago

Hey, Avn. During my preparations, I came across a number of good books.

These are few of the books I would like to suggest you.

PHYSICS: HC VERMA (very important both for theory and practise) , ARIHANT series of books (mainly Electricity and Magnetism; Optics; Mechanics part 2( which comprises rotational motion and fluid mechanics);

CHEMISTRY: NCERT; ABC of CHEMISTRY; ARIHANT ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

MATHS: RD SHARMA ( for initial prep); KC SINHA series of books or ARIHANT series of books; TMH (for problem solving practise and skill development)

It would be better to join a test series at the end( FIITJEE or NARAYANA) to find out where you stand among the legions of souls who compete with you.

ALL the best
