INDIA ON MARS!!!!!

Congratulations to all my fellow Indian friends. Our ISRO today became the 4th organization to land it's Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) after NASA (Curiosity), ESA, and the SOVIET UNION. It is a matter of great pride for all of us as we are still a developing country. Friends, although we are still studying, but i aim on making my country proud and i'm sure all of you do so...

I'm gonna make this note a place for everyone, Indian or not, to share his/her views on the advancement in Space age, and their aims in life...

Thanks guys and Many more to come INDIA!!

And what's exciting is that India's MOM is the cheapest inter-planetary mission, costing a tenth of NASA's Mars mission Maven. Given the high rate of failures only 21 of the total of 51 missions sent to Mars by various countries being successful, India has done it in her first attempt. Sanjeet Raria · 2 years, 4 months ago

@Sanjeet Raria Did you know there is a running joke that the movie Gravity was made with the budget of a 100 mil., whereas our country sent a spacecraft to the planet with rockiest terrain in just 74 million...That's what you call saving!! lol:) Hats off ISRO and the involved scientists!!! Well humans can see Mars through camera, colonization is way ahead of us for technology. It takes a year round trip and it costs $10,000 per pound sent there. And if they are in need of supplies, it is hard to get stuff there. Anyways, congrats. Nolan H · 2 years, 1 month ago
