# is this vague division?

1/3=0.333............. 2/3=0.666................ then as per above progression 3/3 should be 0.999........ and not a perfect 1.................???

yeah,you have hit an interesting side of maths.Actually 0.99999999..=1.And if you want me to prove it,Nothing could be easier. let x=0.9999999... ---1 or, 10.x=9.9999999... ---2 subtracting equation 1 from 2, 10.x - x=9.99999999999... - 0.9999999... or,9.x=9. or, x=1. Hope you realise 0.9999999999..=1! Really!
