# Issue regarding ratings and points!

From last few days though I am solving rated problems, neither my points and nor my rating is increasing! Today I solved a set containing 11 rated problems but though ,after solving my ratings and points were same as before! Also my streak also did not increase! Please help me Brilliant staff!

Can you provide links to the problems this happened with? There are several reasons problems may not effect your rating. The main ones are for newer problems that don't have stable reasons we bypass updating the solvers rating and only update the problems rating and for problems that were created by staff for the practice section those don't affect ratings (thought should still affect points)

I am using brilliant from my mobile on brilliant app and dont know how to update links? But I can reshare the set which I solved so you can have a look at it in my posts. Is it ok?

I have reshared the set that I solved today. You can see it in my posts named as "Do you dare solve these questions". It contains 11 problems.

Hi Kunal, thanks for following up.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, we've been working on some major changes to how the signup process works.

The issue with ratings is that these problems did not yet have stable ratings.

Points and streaks, however should be updated. Note that there may be some issues with the app where numbers are loaded once when you first open the app and then are cached on the app until the next time you restart the app. This would mean the numbers would have been updated on our server but you would see the old numbers. I will pass that on to the person in charge of the Android app.
