SEE THE SOLUTION BELOW: Observe that in a leap year there are total 366 days . Now calculate that how many months are there having 31 days, 29 days and 30 days. Add them all and obviously you will get 12 which is the value of x + y +z .!!!!

It should be mentioned that $$x,y,z$$ are natural numbers.
