This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

• Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
• Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
• Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.

I prefer being Duckrolled....Cheesy Rick Astley? Really? The boy with the manly voice. Darn, if there's one thing I hate about the 80's......

- 5 months, 1 week ago

It is kind of strange. He has such a low and deep voice, but he looks like a twelve year old.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Always has, even when he was with F.B.I. Must have scared the crap out of his parents when he spoke his first words.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

He was with the FBI? I thought he was just some weird singer.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

That's just a cover that turned out to be very successful.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Does somebody exist in this realm of obliviousness?

- 3 months, 1 week ago

sure. if i'm real ;-)

- 3 months, 1 week ago

No you're not real. You are just a butterfly dreaming about the human figure. But you do exist, even if you are just someone in a dream.

- 3 months, 1 week ago

Can you define existence, and what is real and what is unreal?

- 3 months, 1 week ago

I'm not a philosophical expert. The butterfly dreaming is just a Young Sheldon thing. But I believe that we are just a part of a story and our decisions are technically not ours. And God is the writer.

$\text{"One offers here a subjective truth. their truth, also known as a belief, which is one among many beliefs because:}$

- 3 months, 1 week ago

What is this?

- 3 months, 1 week ago

It basically speaks about Uncertainty, basically, from Science to religion everything is a belief, it might be true or not, and also we might never know the exact truth and thus always be uncertain. However, things which are well-defined like Maths, Logic are consistent within themselves assuming we have the proper set of axioms. Read about Godel's Incompleteness theorem.

- 3 months, 1 week ago

Godel's incompleteness theorems are quite big. I'll read them. But what actually is that? $\text{One offers here a .....}$

- 3 months, 1 week ago

It is a quotation from a book.

- 3 months, 1 week ago

Can you tell the name of the book?

- 3 months, 1 week ago

$\boxed{\text{DEVLOK with Devdutt Pattanaik}}$ It is a book on Hindu mythology but at the starting of the book, there is some good philosophy which has a resemblance to Uncertainty, Godel's Incompleteness theorem implicitly. Otherwise, it is filled with Hindu mythology stories.

- 3 months, 1 week ago

I am actually interested in it because of the mythological stories. The lines mentioned Indra and Varuna and I knew that it was related to Indian mythology.

- 3 months, 1 week ago

Nice font. How did you write it this way. And you found the text because of the full stop. $\textcolor{#FFFFFF}{\text{If not for the '.' you would've been clueless}}$

- 3 months, 1 week ago

$\texttt{If not for the ’.’ you would’ve been clueless}$

When you use Latex, instead of /text use /texttt

- 3 months, 1 week ago

Let's see if you can now find out how I find your hidden text in white :)

- 3 months, 1 week ago

$\textcolor{#FFFFFF}{ \texttt{When you click on the notification, it highlights the comment in a yellow-white color}}$

- 3 months, 1 week ago

easy peasy :)

- 3 months, 1 week ago

nice difference between real and existing

- 3 months, 1 week ago

ty for mentioning me. why does the link lead to a yt-vid?
anyway: no need to link to my empty chat.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Maybe in Germany, this doesn’t exist?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

? it leads to that video: 'Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up'
i don't get how this would be connected.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I don’t know how to explain this to you, but it’s a rickroll, umm.. somewhat like an April fools prank

- 5 months, 1 week ago

ok. ty. this vid has 800mio views, so he is making a lot of money with it

- 5 months, 1 week ago

If someone sort of pranks you with showing you the song like in a zoom meeting, then you’ve been Rick-Rolled and same thing if someone like, gives you a link to a ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ video. It is basically an unexpected appearance of the video.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

thank you. i was not aware of that.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I didn't know that either, never even heard of it. Must have been something Ricky boy came up with himself, the sly old marketing fox. I mean, that song is how old now? And has it ever been good?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

It’s a good song, I guess. But Rick didn’t actually make it. It was originally a meme where people have a misleading link to ‘rickroll’ them. It’s pretty funny sometimes.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I haven't clicked the link yet...I'm suspicious because I never saw Num IC's chat note, even though I check his notes sometimes...

Edit 1 : found out its a yt link by hovering over it...suspiciously seems like a rickroll, seeing as I pulled one some time ago...

Edit 2 : my suspicions were true! num IC mentioned the Rick Astley vid! I am 1000 IQ big-brained bois!!! You can't prank me!!!

Edit 3 : @Jason Gomez

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Ik and uk what happened

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Yes, and that is that I didn't get rickrolled. Please, we were on the topic just some time ago, I'm not that stupid. Also, my friends on repl.it rickroll so much, I always use the JS preview that comes for links to be safe.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Okay, then I’ll get you in some other way

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Hehehe, I'll watch out :)

- 5 months, 1 week ago

And Num IC did have a just chat note up, and it was there for a few days, Ik u saw the note first

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I didn't actually see his note. Just saw the lack of it. Got deleted by staff seemingly, according to num IC.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

BM will prolly delete this...chatting's not really promoted on this site...

- 5 months, 1 week ago

my chat note was empty. and now it is gone. maybe the staff deleted it bcs it was empty.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

probably...and that will happen to this chat too

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Ok then lets have a science/math discussion, what are the math/science problems you saw in real life as a kid and couldn't solve them at that time. Here's the link to L-Tetramino where me,Chris Lewis and David Vreken started this conversation.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

april fools day is not today

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I plan for things which are gonna come(not at all, I am a very bad planner :P)

- 5 months, 1 week ago

:-)

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Has your notification bar being acting up? It doesn’t show anything for me if I don’t have any notifications

- 5 months, 1 week ago

yes

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Okay so it’s mostly an issue everyone is facing, so no need of asking BM to do something about it

- 5 months, 1 week ago

by yes i mean: if there is a new notification then it shows the number and i can view them.
what issue do you have? (it sounds like it might be related to some browser settings)

- 5 months, 1 week ago

- 5 months, 1 week ago

The notification bar disappeared, and doesn’t come at all, only if I have a new notification does it show up, so no damage in that way

- 5 months, 1 week ago

ah now i got what you mean: my notification bar is vanished now.
i assume the are doing some update.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

now it seems to be ok again.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Hmm mostly, do you face the same issue?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

hm, yes. if there is no new notification it does not show up at all.
thats a pity bcs i use it as a reminder if there is a post that i want to check again or more deeply.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

The link isn’t working for me. Is that normal?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

thats why i said today is not april fools day.
its no link. he just changed the text color

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I was wondering why it was in latex. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

can you see that directly?
i'm on a windows laptop and for me it's just blue (slightly different than a real link).
after your comment i copied it to see the latex part.
how to see it without copying?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I think the font is just a little different for me. I’m on a phone by the way.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Strange, I have no problem with the link. It takes you here: https://brilliant.org/problems/l-tetramino/

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Strange, when there was no link placed in the first place

- 5 months, 1 week ago

maybe you where not rickrolled, but at leaat you got pranked now ;-)

- 5 months, 1 week ago

@num IC ?.? I made that comment ?.? How do you get fooled by your own comment?.?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

So where did S Broekhuis get the link from?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

From my problem… check my profile you should realise, and the link works for real now, click it and see

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Yeah, I got to the link.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

yeah. nice problem. i solved it manual. i love the way David solved it general.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I had been solving that problem manually for years, lol

Do you know why they call me Mr. Happy? Because I'm so effing Smart

Yeah, very strange....

I used to lie in my bed watching it snow outside, wondering about how many symmetries a snowflake has. I was just a wee lad of about 4 years old back then, so naturally I didn't have a clue about 3 dimensions and how they work together.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Nice you tried a part of group theory from four, very impressive

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Nonono, not group theory just the symmetries of a single snowflake. I didn't get to wonder about group theory until we had rabbits, which I think was when I was around 6.

Okay I put the link now, I wasn’t able to get the web address through my phone I was using yesterday, so thought I’ll just do this

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Okay I am taking out the rickroll now, in fear I might rickroll myself (I haven’t been rickrolled(I call a rickroll, a rickroll if it’s a total surprise) yet), and have no intention in feeling the embarrassment of rickrolling myself.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I just used this command \color{random} in my new problem and it didn’t give an error, but always shows the colour black to me, do you guys see it in different colours?

- 5 months, 1 week ago

$\color{random}{\text{This too is in supposedly random color}}$

- 5 months, 1 week ago

$\color{random}{\fcolorbox{random}{random}{\text{This also}}}$

- 5 months, 1 week ago

i'm not sure how random works in LaTex. in other languages a funktion is used to generate pseudo-random values. so if the function is started, it always starts with the same numbers in the same order.
therefore an initial value can be given to create a more random looking value. often the time is used for that.
anyway: if you can access the current time in ms then you can just use the last digits to create a somehow random value.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

- 5 months, 1 week ago

- 5 months, 1 week ago

random is not a latex code, so usually if latex doesn't recognize a color code, it goes to default a.k.a black.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

\color{why_does_it_not_do_the_same_with_this}{\text{I should have written that here}}

- 5 months, 1 week ago

$\color{color}{\text{no symbols i guess}}$

\color{./0][}{\text{no symbols i guess}}

- 5 months, 1 week ago

$\color{hello}{\text{see}}$

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Wait what \color{random1}{\text{huh}}

- 5 months, 1 week ago

no numbers and symbols, only letters allowed

- 5 months, 1 week ago

Ok that makes sense

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I found some forum's and youtube videos on the random latex topic, here are the links -

StackExchange - Random colors in Latex 1

StackExchange - Random colors in Latex 2

Everything to do with color in Latex - Video

All about font color in Latex - Video

The videos just talk about \xcolor in latex documentation, and only the forum really explains random-color codes, but none of that works on Brilliant I guess.

Also check out this zoom rickroll :)

I clicked the zoom rickroll first, then it showed me a video about latex. I then started looking for the rickroll in the links. I see what you did Percy.

Here's a first, someone really wanting to be rickrolled

I thought there was no rickroll and that was the prank, but lol thanks to Percy himself I didn’t get rickrolled lol

I'm gonna play some 1,000,000 IQ games on you now, seeing as you passed the 1000 IQ challenge...

Bring it on

hehehe

I didn’t want to be rickrolled, but I did want to know which one was the rickroll. I wasn’t on brilliant for half a day and now I have 90 notifications. 90, people! (89, but who’s counting?) What were you guys doing?

And why did you delete half of them?

sry.
when this happens i just read the chat and then delete all notifications from the participants. that might cause that i miss something that was regarding another topic.

Actually, I like reading comments. That’s why I’m kind of frustrated when their deleted. I’m just curious by nature. I need to know a lot of things. My ‘fatal flaw’ would probably be my curiosity.

i fully understand. i'm quite curious too.
but sometimes it's very time consuming to read all that was posted. (tbh i had to learn quite a lot of self-discipline to avoid checking all notifications.)

regarding deleted posts: every correction of a post creates a new notification but only the newest one leads to the post.
so you were mainly missing wrong spellings or changed wordings.

Oh, I thought that I was missing out on something that could change my life. (That was over-dramatic, but still)

sure u missed some life changing wise words from the demi-god ;-)
and did you check Jasons challenge with the 10000 cars?

My profile picture is Reyna from Heroes of Olympus, drawn by Viria from tumble. I did see Jason’s challenge, but the wording was a little confusing for me. I didn’t really get the question.

oh it seems i missed a lot. i was not aware how far this series is extended.
if you are interested in calculating probabilities, i can explain the car task in other words.

That would be so nice of you. I’d like it if you do that. I was never that good at understanding probability, something I share with my mother.

Bellona sucks at probability? lol

I don’t get it. Bellona is the Roman goddess of war, not probability.

but...she has to be smart right? War has strategy, and strategy involves considering multiple possibilities aka probabilities. Ares shouldn't know probability. I'd be surprised if he even knew what a number is...

I think you’ve mixed her up with Athena.

No he hasnt

Moderator Note : The Bandwidth is low on this comment, you may start another main comment if you want to continue

bruh seriously? okay...

Moderator Note : The Bandwidth is extremely low on this comment, you have to start another main comment if you want to continue

fine dude...i posted a new comment...also, I don't think its bandwidth...

i like to explain it. i just wanted to avoid explaining it without beeing asked for.

in other words: if you pick a random number between 0 and 9999
and then i pick a random number between 0 and 9999
and i repeat that 10000 times.
what is the probability that your number matches at least one of my numbers?
(i can guide you step by step through the solution if that was your intention.)

So this is going by that you may pick the same number twice?

If so, I’d presume it’s about 63% If not, 100%

wow great. you are right: if i could only pick different numbers then it would be 100%. (but that would be too easy ;-)
can you explain how you calculated the 63%

I didn’t actually calculate it. I asked my dad and he gave me the answer. Vaguely. He also mentioned that the question didn’t make much sense and so I sort of cheated. I don’t actually know how it was solved.

You are too on point to have just guessed that, are you sure you are (palindrome) bad at probability

yeah like Jason says: you got that 63% quite fast. this kinda contradicts that you are "not good at understanding probability" ;-)
that's why i asked how u calculated that 63%

sry, we're having a prank contest, me and Jason. We're gonna stop now, at least I am, dunno bout Jason.

A Brilliant prank competition? How many pranks can you do online? I’m sure there aren’t that many. And is it really a prank contest if only one (or none) of you participate?

If we keep it everyday then it will get boring and all of you guys will be getting 259 notifs, so it will start up once in a while

Yeah :)

Yeah you are not allowed to use packages in brilliant, if we could, I can't imagine what you would do with it

Yeah and also, you got rickrolled. Not even Einstein can figure out that one.

I just realised that the fourth video was a rickroll, I didn’t see it till now, I saw only the first, second and the zoom rickroll, so that’s what Sarah was talking about, I thought she meant that there was no rickroll, and btw you used the original one it ends in XcQ

Yup it’s the original, lol Percy you couldn’t beat me( maybe if you put it two days later, I might have clicked it by then, I had checked the first two for rickrolls but would have forgotten today\tomorrow)

Well...fine, watch out for bigger-brain tricks then...

I got one up my sleeve now, but I love surprises more so you will have to wait

k fine

Better than Einstein lol

obviously everyone alive is better than Einstein, the guy's frickin dead

he got me first, but i deleted my reply to avoid spoiling it.

Lol he spoiled it himself

We're still on 0-0, neither has a point...I'm gonna get you...

Notifs been acting up lately. Seems like new update. Also, they removed the View Mobile Site/View Full Site buttons. I kinda liked the previous look better.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

So that’s how you used to message to those “no bandwidth replies”, I always changed devices lol

- 5 months, 1 week ago

yeah lol now i can't reply to nico's invisible messages :P

I can still copy paste the thing and paste it somewhere to read, but I'm too lazy to do that...

- 5 months, 1 week ago

I have unsubscribed...all of you collectively are giving me too many notifications.

- 5 months, 1 week ago

No worries will @ you when required

k

Could you guys try out my new problem, it shows that six people attempted and failed, and it is supposed to be an easy-ish problem, is there any problem with the problem statement or have I got the answer wrong?

should the answer be given in % or just a probability?
my first guess was 0.368 but i forgot something.
now i got it.
and i did it the same way as you showed in your solution (without the extend to infinity).

Just a probability, percentage is used only when asked I thought, I’ll make that more clear

does indian number plates use leading zeroes?
maybe ppl assume a trap and exclude the numbers from 0 to 999.

Sometimes they don’t but normally it’s kept, that’s the reason I put 0000 to 9999 so that all numbers below five digits are included

;-) you asked why ppl might have failed. i just made some proposals.
but overal in my opinion your wording was good, so the failures might just be misscalculations.
maybe Sarah has an idea to improve the wording, but as i said: in my opinion your wording is good. and i like that challenge very much.

strange. it seems my comment to your (Jason) 'Bouncing up' solution was deleted by the staff.
i have no idea why.

Even the other two, the staff really don't like people appreciating me sad (it's more likely that it's so that only important discussions may be seen by everybody and not appreciation)

yeah i thought so too, but it seems like something has changed bcs in former solutions a lot was just congratz.
btw: i got 52 notifications. i might not be able to catch that all up, so i might miss some of that precious communication.

tbh the first time I read that, I read it as 'it seems my comment to Jason bouncing up was deleted by staff' lol

hm that sounds like 'bouncing up' is objectionable. if so: i apologize, that was not my intention.

No, it sounds like jason is a flying bouncy ball, which is sorta true, except the bouncy ball part, but it was funny not objectinb-whatever lol

Oh yeah u still can’t fly right lol

I can use water to propel myself up, I don't need to fly :)

It ain’t flying

yup, but it's better than flying :)

You will realise the day you need to fly in the desert

I can create water with some effort. I did so when I exploded Mt. somthing and went flying to calypso's island :)

Saint. Helens I think. Or Mount Orthrys or Mount Tam. I don’t know.

Yeah, Saint Helens.

I deleted the rickroll, because almost everyone already got rickrolled. We can include Frisk, Nathan and Nico if you want to @Jason Gomez

Totally fine

btw did you know @Mentions are also links to your profiles, as in if you click your mention, you'll get to your profile. You can scare people by doing [@person] (rickroll link) because the preview shows the rickroll link but it ultimately goes to your profile coz of Brilliant lol keep that in mind if we're including the others coz they don't know that

Oh nice

I did that to your mention in the above comment to demonstrate.

We could make teams up, lol

lol

Damn so you did that here lol

Its dam, not damn, and yes, I did do that. Did you get rickrolled? I was joking about the 'others don't know' thing. Frisk taught it to me. Only Nico doesn't have any tricks up his sleeve. The others are masters at pranks. Nathan will gladly lock the comment sections in any of your notes. You won't be able to post comments. We're all kinda powerful that way lol

No, you literally mentioned it, I saw the bitly link

Yea

And wdym by Nathan will lock up the comment section?

By making so much spam latex maybe that the note can’t handle?

Kinda...but its not spam, its one line of latex. The comment bar just disappears. Me, Frisk, Nathan, and Pall (deleted account, he's the one who created it) all know how to do it, but Nathan loves it the most, so we let him do it. Frisk organizes our tricks and forms more creative new tricks. Nathan's the nuke bomber. Pall's the brains, he creates the most tricks and I'm the...Percy, I guess...I don't really know what I do, but it's probably something important :)

Edit : opened it up later and found that it is in fact rendering properly now

$15 - 5 = 10$

@Jason Gomez

You used \ to escape the sequence, have to still formulate how exactly you did that

No, sometimes my latex seriously doesn't render, like now. It gets really laggy and all, and websites take 5-10 minutes to load. Usually when I preview a solution it happens, and its happening when I previewed my solution in today's problem. I've asked BM about this but BM told me the engineers are working on it.

Well I know your prank and latex can’t fail on so small sequences

I don't see the latex as it is, I see it as I put in my comment below

\(15 - 5 = 10\)

But your mention didn’t work so you did something to it

bruh not everything has to be a prank you know

@Percy Jackson I found a way to nuke with the help of Num ic, it’s a little different but very annoying, I assume the nuke you were talking about was the abyss right, this one stops all notifications from a note(I think only mentions get through) and also gives error messages if you try to comment

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

How do you make that? Our abyss doesn't allow anyone to comment without a secret tactic. Have you been researching our old notes to find the secrets?

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I actually knew about the abyss before you told about the nuke, just didn’t know it was the nuke, I learnt latex from you, so wanting to learn more I checked all your notes, and learnt more from Frisk Dreemurr, but I won’t have been motivated to learn latex if not for you

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

lol I knew we should've deleted our nuke research...good to know you learnt latex from me tho

I got the nuke site mention, unleash a nuke there so I may rate it, don't forget to include the latex code for the nuke

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Nah it’s very simple just look at it

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I think the nuke got a little too effective, go back to the nuke page and reload it if you didn’t get the notification

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I am not getting any notifications from the test site it got a little too effective

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Still nothing. It keeps sending an error message now saying server issue, but the message gets through eventually. Nothing nuke sized. Shall I demonstrate a real nuke in your test site?

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Wait that’s the first part of the story

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Fine do the second part quickly so I can nuke your note to hell :P

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I did it, you won’t get the notification that I did

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Ok. Check the note now :)

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Yeah checked it it’s done

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Also, are you getting 10-15 notifs right now from me? that's a hacker, certainly not me nuking and mentioning you to annoy you :)

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Yeah yeah I am getting the notifs, it seems that your first nuke neutralised my nukes, and then your second one put the note down

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Actually, it was all one nuke. I just messed up the code. One nuke with all that power, and it rests in the hands of teenagers lol

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I dont have a computer to outdo the nuke right now

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I could start up the laptop but too lazy to do that

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I actually mentioned you 7-8 times under the nuke that's why you got notifs lol

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

U m I knew that.…

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I can stay up for an hour and do this in different notes just to annoy you...lol

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Well I could do it in all your notes and you wouldn’t even able to notice it happened

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

gr8 way to annoy ppl ryt?

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Ok now you nuke the note, I’ll remove the nuke I made then do it

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

But have you tried sending anything after the new two mentions

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

I nuked the note with the mentions again

- 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Reply here if you didn’t get mentioned to the nuke test site

"A dam is a noun that refers to a structure built across a river to stop or slow down the water."
i assume that is not what Jason meant.

It's a Percy Jackson reference, it's in one of Percy 's deleted notes

ok. thank you.
so in this case "dam" has somehow the meaning of "damn" ?

Kinda yes, a character with no knowledge of the present referred to a canteen near a dam as the "damn canteen", that's how it started

ty. maybe i missed this book. it's quite a while ago that i read the percy jackson stories.

Have you ever thought that everyone sees colours differently, but we call it the same colour because that is what we think it is? Like, I could see yellow, and you see blue, but we both call it blue because that’s what we think it’s called.

yeah, but i found no way to check it (besides brain/mind exchange ;)

Maybe one day we'll figure it out, whether it is mind exchange or not.

I had thought of this before, and I remember making some kind of argument which eventually concluded we all should be seeing the same, I will post below this comment once I remember

Oh yeah I remember one point now, even if u do a brain exchange ultimately, it’s the eye that takes signal to pass to the brain so any difference should occur at the eye, and I think people have replaced whole eyes (not just the cornea, etc)by now, and if they don’t see any differently then we all see the same(mostly)

Well there are only so many combinations there can be. Maybe those people got lucky. Or when we comprehend the colours in our brain we see it differently.

Hmm maybe, I think I didn’t think that thru(I was very happy to finally have kept the shower thought aside)

The eye is fully understood in biology, mostly

The brain isn’t, so most of the questions we make on this topic won’t have answers now, although it’s in our heads

Exactly, for all we know there could be ghosts of our ancestors navigating and working the brain.

Free will might be an illusion, but I don’t want the reality to be this

Once we die we will get to control someone else. We can do whatever we want to them, as long as we make sure he/she doesn’t die so we lose control again.

I hope so you guys know Science (leaving mathematics) is a belief that might be the truth or not.

It’s a very good approximation of the truth

And how do you say that?

That's the most probable truth ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (calculate the probability yourself)

For calculating probability, you need the no. of outcomes, and the bias of each outcome, but for science, you don't know anything for sure, did you create the world, maybe you did, you don't remember maybe you didn't what are really the laws of this world? These are just probabilities and truth is just diminished.

Newton’s laws were probably true, now general relativity might be probably true, quantum mechanics is probably true, you can’t measure these probabilities because it’s not a probability infact, it’s either the truth or not, we can just calculate the probability from what we know and observe, the more a theory predicts and is shown to be true it’s more likely to us to be true

Yes, you are uncertain if this world is true or not as it seems, thus similarly we can't be certain about the laws of the world it is just a belief, what if the next second the laws of the world change?

Thats why science is the most probable truth, the laws have seemingly never changed till now with time so it is most likely not to either, could happen but science is most likely to stay constant from previous observations

That is very wrong, don't confuse mathematically probability with human intuition so much. Suppose I give you a coin, and you have to say me is it biased or not just by flipping the coin and seeing its outcomes. Even if it is heads million times you cannot say it's biased as even a fair coin has a very close to 0 but non-zero chance of getting heads million times but by human intuition, one would want to say it's impossible which is wrong.
