Hi staff of Brilliant.org,
I was thinking about adding a leaderboards section to brilliant.org.
This can include any of the following:
-Streaks
-Points (per week, per month, per year, overall)
-Most followed (not including "Best of" profiles of course)
-Highest rated problems (in each of the topics)
-Posts/Problems with most likes (recent)
I recall someone posting something about leaderboards on Brilliant.org already, but after trying to search for it but to no avail, I am here creating a new note.
Thanks or reading. If anyone has any more ideas on what should be in leaderboard, you can post in in the comments below.
Thanks,
Daniel

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Top NewestAnother suggestion would be have a leaderboard for most solution upvotes. I'm not much of a solution writer but I know lots of people put a lot of time into that. Maybe also a category for most reshares on problems they have created, number of problems solved and total level (sum of your levels in each topic).

I Think most problem solved
They should also try to add a Notification Bar To notify us what happened when we were not on Brilliant....
Who liked our post, Shared and other stuffs....

I think there must be a leaderboard to make us aware of our improvement. But the leaderboard should be according to age so that we can compete among the members of our age &it will also be interesting and fun to know who is at the top.

Hi Mantosh, if you enter the correct numerical answer to a problem, you'll have an opportunity to submit a solution. Let me know if that answers your question.

Just copy the leaderboard for duolingo to start. The duolingo leaderboard has weekly competitions and league matches with rankings for the number of problems solved during that week. It's simple, fun, and addictive. Then add more leaderboards for solutions, helpfulness (upvotes), etc... A leaderboard would highly incentivize learning. I can't wait until you have a functioning leaderboard. :)
