My friend and I have levelled up only when we solve either all the problems in a set, or solve all but one. In this weeks algebra and number theory set, I solved all the questions and was immediately levelled up. My friend solved all questions in each math set in two separate weeks and he was levelled up separately in each topic. I think it is based on this criterion.
