Can you add details of what is expected for the IIT? I know that they test on Orthocenter, but it is not clear to me which properties they expect you to be aware of.

The properties which i mentioned are must.
And specifically what we call "Solutions of triangles".
Various distances like ortho to circumcentre, incentre to circumcentre , and cos rule ,sine rule, napiers analogy ,
triangles related to various circles , and all this includes typical geometry and algebra, geometry related to complex no.s.
IIT is notorious for its changing patterns of exam and types and level of questions so nothing can be said what they test
but these types of properties are must

they ask problems based on relation between orthocenter, circumcenter and centroid with a mix of other topics like straight line or circles and so on

They also test conic section i.e parabola, circles ,hyperbola, ellipse, straight lines. Their reflection properties are extremely helpful.
