Need help with some probs!

1)Can somebody please post a solution to this problem?\[\] 2)If the roots of the equation \(x^3-px^2+qx-r=0\) are the sides of a triangle,then the range of the expression \(\dfrac{p}{r}(4q-p^2)\) is an interval of length _ ? [Answer=\(1\)]

Well,it sure is questionable but since it doesn't have a solution i think it will be beneficial to the community.
