# New computer science section in your imagination

I was trying to think what changes would they make to the computer science section. But couldn't think of anything. How do you imagine your new computer science section? Maybe different languages? What are your thoughts? Explain :)

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

• Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
• Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
• Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.

I think they might come up with an online grader. That way they can separate the efficient solutions from the rest. They could set an execution time and try different tests and give you points whenever the correct output is given in time. It would be more like the programming contests.

That's what I was thinking too

that's good... i think just add tutorials, videos to add knowledge to the user... collect all the languages to compare what the new generation is.. :)

No idea, I was actually quite happy already with how it was. But better is always better! :)

they should come back with java programming challenges

Yes,if java is included it would be great fun as in my school only java is taught and I have read about Python in internet only i.e. Python tutorial.Looking forward to the inclusion of Java.

hello :)... i guess all the programming languages for better understanding.. :)

I think Python is better and more scientific than Java because the integer type of Java has a limit range.

I hope they can come up with more original problems :)

I think they might increase the difficulty of the questions. The questions at level 5 in previous weeks didn't require any skills.

in my imagination... you need to write the program. and then when you submit the program,it checks the output to see if you get it right.. but then if you think about it .. someone might just put print(ans)

Ho yes ! English is very difficult for me, even if i have been learning it for years, it still stump on pronunciation, names pronunciation, words having both meanings, jargon. If there were a section French or Spanish, i would be very happy (but how many would we be ?)
