Learning matters, neither grade nor points. Chasing points might make one prone to cheating.

That's my opinion. I don't mean to say, one who chase points always cheat. · 3 years, 6 months ago

it is right to agree with you...urgency of some more points may lead to taking resort to misuse... · 3 years, 6 months ago

No it gives star for the section you completed . Hope brilliant will change stars to points · 3 years, 6 months ago

i am also hoping so...right now we have to wait if it does... · 3 years, 6 months ago

how to see whether another have how many stars?? · 3 years, 6 months ago

I am also saying same as Riya G . Just open their profile , there will be written · 3 years, 6 months ago

Oh yay! I didn't realize that.

I do wish that there was a less broken system to get back stars that you lost. Once you get three strikes you're permanently out, and it kind of annoys me to have holes in my techniques.

As a negative point to this, if you fail a 3-star it technically demotivates you from doing the other problems in the 3-star section. I'm not saying that people only do problems for stars, but having a system where losing one problem ends up meaning the same as losing three problems seems a bit broken.

Just my take. I love stars! And I probably wouldn't mind if they weren't converted to points, because stars are pretty, and have pentaradial symmetry! · 3 years, 6 months ago

i also agree with you... · 3 years, 6 months ago

you juz open up ur profiile and u'll be able to see ur stars.and to see othrs stars, open up their profile by clicking on their links.... · 3 years, 6 months ago

then who have the highest stars??? · 3 years, 6 months ago

There is no way to find it . Brilliant is not trying to compete users each other but trying to grow their maths skill · 3 years, 6 months ago

i agree with u....Shaheed :) · 3 years, 6 months ago

math skill is an exceptional skill which strengthens us to develop new techniques....... actually i am too not a bright student at math...... · 3 years, 6 months ago

Hey that nvr matters non-brilliant doesn't means that you not gud at math :)

juz a little bit of practise and ur math will be in beter condition :) · 3 years, 6 months ago

but i think that brilliant has given me a huge support to perform well in math and hence my mathematics skill has gone increasing... so i think that a we · 3 years, 6 months ago

Brilliant help true maths lovers · 3 years, 6 months ago

agreed...only true math lovers · 3 years, 6 months ago

i agree but you all know that competitions make us urge to perform well · 3 years, 6 months ago

if you see that you have only 5 stars while everyone you meet has have a 25 or more then you feel eager to improve.. · 3 years, 6 months ago

There many takes way of cheating through maths help sites to know answers of questions on principle which they don"t know · 3 years, 6 months ago

but i think no one would help for a typical question on a website without money...:) · 3 years, 6 months ago

You are wrong Raja S . There are websites where we can post questions of brilliant for free · 3 years, 6 months ago

then you too post questions for free and get answers i.e. you also cheat ....but if you do so you would get banned from this website........ · 3 years, 6 months ago

I know how a thief steals but i am not a thief .Use your words properly Raja S. Don't make me fear that i will get banned for my innocence. · 3 years, 6 months ago
