Optics Problem

How is the distance between the object and the mirror calculated? Is the difference between the object and image distance or their sum? Please answer.

there is mirror formula for this::::1/f=1/v+1/u . where f=focal length v= image distance and u= object distance. Remember sign conventions that direction along incidence ray is always taken to be positive rest all others negative.Ask if you have any doubts.... Harshi Singh · 1 year, 3 months ago
