If you want problems, look at Igor Irodov "Problems in General Physics." For a thorough understanding of mechanics, look at Kleppner "Introduction to Mechanics."

You may use Science for everyone by S.S.Krotov. I would also suggest Mechanics by DC Pandey, Arihant Publications (check out the old edition, it has good subjective problems).

"University Physics" by Young and Freedman. "Physics for Scientists and Engineers" by Serway. "Learning Guides for Physics 103/105" - Princeton University. "Physics by Example" by Rees. MIT Open CourseWare. You could google for "POPTOR" (University of Toronto Physics Olympiad Preparation Program) and "Harvard Physics Problem of the Week"

Yes . I have HC Verma , but I have already solved Half of the questions. I need a good book for more practice .

Hello brother, i can understand that you are an iit aspirant. Days have changed and iit jee is not the same it used to be before (it has been simplified to reduce stress on students and make them learn other things also). Don't devote all your time in completing books. Give some time to sports and other extra curricular activities. You are still 14 and you don't need to do all this right now. I am not telling you to neglect studies but try to enjoy what ever you need to learn now rather than working hard to learn things you will be anyhow learning in the future. You wont get time in future to play and enjoy. But i am sure that for what ever you need to learn to get in to iit's you will be having two long years in the future.

Dude , Punneth , I am not neglecting sports at all . check my profile to see wha all I Play . and I am NOT in completing books but , I Look forward to newer topics in books .

Brothers, I m not telling you to neglect you studies. I m asking you to question "why" in what ever you learn. We solve many complex problems using laws and rules but many of us don't know what's the difference between a rule and a law. We solve many problems in current electricity but many of us don't know why PD remains constant when two batteries are connected in parallel and doubles when two batteries are connected in series, how does electrons flow in both these cases and what is the job of a battery? Such questions your teachers might not teach you or you wont think of since they wont come in exams. Seriously, they might make a large difference. This is the difference between outside world and us. In India we produce very good software engineers(People good at Mathematics) but borrow ideas from Russia to make a simple helicopter design(We haven't produced a single helicopter or jet plane without Russian collaboration). If you are not in that many i have mentioned above, just neglect whatever i told and move on.

Try "New Pattern IIT JEE" by D C Pandey, Arihant Publications. Its really a good book and has many mind-stirring problems. This book focuses only on problems and explanation of topic is not included, though explanation for certain selected problems are given.
