Problem with LaTeX.

So I just solved a problem and in the solution I wanted to make a table. But somehow, I'm not getting the required output. \[\]

The syntax I used was as follows : \begin{table}{cr} Header & Header & Header & Header \ \hline data & data & data & data \ data & data & data & data \

\end{table}\[\]

Can someone help me out please?

We do not support the tabular environment. However, you can use the array environment, with the same result

For example, use the syntax: \begin{array}{l | c | r | l} Header & Header & Header & Header \ \hline data & data & data & data \ \hline data & data & data & data \ \end{array}

and you will get:

\[\begin{array}{l | c | r | l} Header & Header & Header & Header \\ \hline data & data & data & data \\ \hline data & data & data & data \\ \end{array}\] Calvin Lin Staff · 3 years, 10 months ago

It doesn't seem like the current formatting on Brilliant.org supports tables, Bob K. tried it once a few days ago without success, and I don't get a table rendered properly either. Tim Vermeulen · 3 years, 10 months ago

@Tim Vermeulen https://brilliant.org/discussions/thread/tables-in-latex/

I found this, not sure if the website doesn't support it or there's some problem with my latex syntax. Vikram Waradpande · 3 years, 10 months ago

@Vikram Waradpande I'm not an expert so I don't know if your syntax is completely correct, but I tried copying an example LaTeX table from internet still without proper formatting. Tim Vermeulen · 3 years, 10 months ago
