A speed test is when a group of people come together to solve a set of math problems. The person/pair who solves it the fastest wins and on top of getting points for solving questions correctly, the winner(s) will get bonus points, e.g.+20 etc. for solving the problems quickly.

Adds an extra kick to math! :)

TopNewestI realize that it's not the same -- specifically, the problems are at a simpler level (meant for middle school students) and it's a VERY fast pace -- but perhaps some people looking for this sort of thing would enjoy playing AoPS FTW (http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/Edutainment/ftwcs3/Pages/tos.php)
