Some of my thoughts in hard times, which I mentioned in my Personal Diary.

20-November-2013 : I was at the verge of taking a very hard and life's direction changing decision. Following positive thoughts were flowing in my mind which made me mentally very strong and capable of taking that decision, and today I'm very elated about that decision.

  • Most of the people quit when they find problems standing in their way. Now you will decide whether you'll in the category of those people or not !
  • You are born free. Live free. Cross your limits, break the bounds which you've insisted on yourself. You can do anything and everything, Just one thing to be done : be strongly determined and fully dedicated towards your goals.
  • When you find any big problem in front of you, at that time challenge yourself and overcome that problem. Whatever is your situation, I'd say "Just follow your passion".
  • Always stay positive and fearless. One day you'll definitely overcome. And have faith in your own cause and an unconquerable will to win.
  • Now I'll walk only on the path I've chosen for myself. I'm never gonna leave this path. And I'm pretty sure that I will do it because I'm going to stay longer with it. It's my passion. I love Mathematics.
  • Always be positive and stay longer with the problems. I know I'm going to be a GREAT MATHEMATICIAN in the future . All the best.

25-November-2013 : This day, I had taken the decision which I thought of, and then I was to work on my craft. Following thoughts kept me inspired to never give up and finally, these positive aspects made me what I wanted to be in my life.

  • Have infinite patience and success is yours. But keep your efforts at your best. Don't care about the results. Just do your work with full dedication. Definitely, one day you will overcome. On that day I thought about some of the quotes by Swami Vivekanand Ji, who always are a great source of inspiration for me :
  • All power is within you. You can do anything and everything .Believe in that, don't believe that you are weak...You can do anything and everything, without even the guidance of anyone. All power is there. Stand up and express the divinity within you.
  • Arise, awake and sleep no more. Within each of you there is the power to remove all wants and miseries. Believe in that and that power will be manifested.
  • Take up one idea. Make that idea your life : think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea. And just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.
  • Good motives, sincerity and infinite love can conquer the world. One single soul possessed of these virtues can destroy the dark designs of millions of hypocrites and brutes.

8-December-2013 : I felt that I'm going down, then I energized myself with some more positive thoughts. Positive thoughts are the building blocks of my career and my life.

  • Work very hard, then only you can enjoy your life to the fullest. Follow your passion and accomplish every goal which you have set before you.
  • Sure I am that this day I am the master of my fate, that the task that has been set before me is not above my strength, that its pangs and toils are not beyond my endurance. As long as I have faith in my own cause and an conquerable will to win, victory will not be denied to me.
  • Mountains can be crumbled into atoms, if the mind is intensely eager. -Swami Vivekanand Ji.
  • Never stop. Always keep walking on that path to your destiny. Do never expect anything from anyone. You alone are enough to solve out your every problem. Have faith in your strengths and courage. Nothing can stop you, if you're strongly determined. You are absolutely right.!
  • HAKUNA MATATA (No worries !) : Two words from a movie kept me relaxing.

I want to thank my best friend Sanjeet Raria, to stay with me in every situation and for very useful discussions we made together, and for crazy dreams which we thought of together with open eyes.

This note is a part of my set A little bit of my Philosophy of life. Please Re-share the set.

What was the life changing decision that you made?
How has it worked out for you in the past year? Calvin Lin Staff · 1 year, 11 months ago

@Calvin Lin I was pursuing B.Tech. (Engineering, Comp. Sci.). But there was no hope for me to a bright future in that field. So my decision was to quit Engineering and start my journey to the field of Maths i.e. towards teaching and research in Maths. But that was not that much easy for me to take that step because of the family issues. My family wasn't ready to accept my decision. For them, Engineering is a very high profile career and leaving that can't be accepted with ease. And also I was not pretty confident about my decision, may be that was because of facing a lot of failures in the past some years, which had made me down subconsciously. But finally, I decided to quit Engineer and start heading towards my Dream at any cost. However, my Great Father was initially sad from my side, but now he is very happy about my that decision. That was my life changing decision.

It really worked out for me in the past year in a great way. I got an opportunity to teach JEE students which made me financially stable and mentally more strong and taught me practically to believe in myself and my decisions of the life and always do whatever my heart signals towards. This made me realization of the fact that dreams do come true, if you mentally refuse to give up your dreams. And now I am living my first Dream i.e. teaching and heading towards the second dream i.e. Research. Presently I'm pursuing B.Sc. (Maths hons.) correspondence course, I will be quite sincere towards the second dream after my Post Graduation which will take about 4-5 years time. Till then, I will live teaching to its fullest and learn a lot of things in Maths(my passion), Teaching (my love) and Motivational speaking (my hobby), and last one but not the least, Gold Medal in Olympics/commonwealth (my craziness) within max. coming 3 years. That's all.

Hi,

One thing I would like to share with you all is that ....

Whenever you decide to do something which you like then just after some times .... Or some days or months even God try to check it out by trying to make you lose and less confident but if you still be able to cross this one hurdle then I m sure that no one can really stop you from achieving that what you want .....

This is what I analysed in my life and think that many of you too .... Same it what realised by me on the way I was reading this passage of 8 dec. 2013 .....

AFTERALL THATS TOO GOOD SIR .... @Sandeep Bhardwaj ...

Thank you for sharing almost all best parts of your life with us.... Mohit Kuri · 1 year, 9 months ago

Sandeep Bhardwaj It was really inspiring for me as now I am going through similar situation. Now I am in the final semester of M.Tech and doing Internship in well known semiconductor MNC. But my real passion is to teach and learn mathematics, I love to be with the students, inspire them, guide them. Though I got offer from company to join them I preferred teaching over it. I had to answer many people including my friends and parents for this decision, but I dare to follow my dream. I have also appeared in the recruitment process of some very good institutes of India but not able to clear the final demo round, may be duo to lack of IIT JEE taching practice. Can you please provide me some guidance regarding what care I should take while doing practice of demo lecture. I am also practicing well with subject so that I can widen my knowledge.

Thanks in advance :-). Bhargav Upadhyay · 1 year, 10 months ago

Even I draw my inspiration from swami vivekanand. At the end it all comes down to a positive frame of mind. Positive thinking is not just expecting the best. It is also accepting that whatever happens, happens for the best. Isha Amoncar · 1 year, 10 months ago
