# Suspended Accounts

Another suggestion

For example, if I go on a 4-week vacation to Argentina with no access to the Internet, I want to suspend my account so I don't drop two levels while away and have to spend 4+ more weeks to get back up.

Maybe you should introduce this feature where levels stay during the suspension.

What if you answer only the two easiest questions one week, and leave everything else unanswered for two consecutive weeks?

In true suspend mode, you shouldn't be able to view any of the problems at all. Viewing and answering indicates that you're out of suspend mode.

I've made it such that if you merely view the problems (but do not answer ANY of them), your level will not change. If you decide to be itchy fingered and key in random / wrong answers, then it's not fair to say that your account has been suspended, and so your levels may change. Getting problems correct will not result in leveling down (even if you only got 2 correct and didn't view the rest).

Your level will not drop if you have no activity on Brilliant. If you decide to 'manually suspend' your account, then your level will stay the same. However, if you come back and view problems and get some wrong (and few/none correct), then your level will drop as intended.

What's 'manually suspend'?

'Manually suspend' as in you personally do not access the site for that week / entire time period, whether by pure willpower, lack of internet, or acts of God.

Did not know that, thanks
