# A Mathematician Walks into a Bar

**Algebra**Level 1

An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar. The first mathematician says I would like \(1\) bottle of beer. The second mathematician says he wants \( \frac { 1 }{ 2 } \) and the third mathematician says he wants \( \frac { 1 }{ 4 } \) of a bottle of beer. This goes on for a while, and then the bartender grabs a certain number of bottles of beer, claiming that he will be able to provide a drink to all of the mathematicians that walk into the bar. How many bottles of beer did the bartender grab?
