  1. Frequency to which oscillator should be set if Deuterons are to be accelerated.

  2. Maximum energy of Deuterons that can be obtained.

Useful data :

  • A deuteron is a nucleus of deuterium with charge \( \text{q} = +\text{e} \).

  • Charge to mass ratio \( \dfrac{q}{m} = 4.79 \times 10^7 \dfrac{C}{kg} \).
