# An electricity and magnetism problem by Sargam yadav

Two infinitely long, straight, and thin parallel wires are placed a distance $$d$$ apart and carry current $$i$$ each. Find the magnetic field at a distance $$d$$ from both wires when the direction of current is 1. same and 2. opposite.

Let $$B$$ in the first situation be $$B_1$$, and $$B_2$$ in the second situation. Find $$\dfrac{B_1}{B_2}$$.

Give your answer to 2 decimal places.
