Let us take 2 compounds A \(\ce{CH_3OH} \) and B \(\ce{CH_3CH_2OH}\)

Now A is treated with \(\ce{KCN}\) and B with \(\ce{AgCN}\) to form C and D respectively.

Now C and D are hydrolyzed to form E and F respectively.

Now E is treated with \(\ce{NaBH_4}\) to form G which is treated with \(\ce{SOCl_2}\) to form H.

Now finally H is treated with \(\ce{LiAlH_4}\) to form I.

Report the answer as product of molecular masses of F and I.

All reactions occur in suitable solvents.
