Bending of rays

A ray of light is incident making an angle \(\theta\) with the axis on one plane end of a transparent cylindrical fiber as shown in the figure. It is observed that for \(\theta>45^{o}\), the ray of light entering the cylinder, will come out of the curved surface The refractive index of the material of the cylinder up to two decimal places

Take \(\sqrt{3}=1.732\) and \(\sqrt{2}=1.414\)
