Carry out the following reactions on it in sequence ..

  • Add \(\ce{Br2} \) in dark.
  • Add \(\text{aq. }\ce{KOH} \) (excess)
  • Then add \(\ce{HBr}\) ( 1 equivalent ).
  • Add \(\text{alc. }\ce{KOH} \)
  • Now add Dilute \( \ce{H2SO4}\) .
  • Add periodate and consider the product with more number of Carbons.
  • Add \(\ce{LiAlH4}\)
  • Now add \(\ce{H^+}\) at 170°C.
  • Add \(\ce{Br2} \).
  • Add \( \ce{NaNH2} \) .
  • Add \( \ce{Ni(CN)2} \).

Molecular Mass of the product is \( A\).

Aromaticity of the product is \( B\) .

Values assigned \( \begin{cases} \text{Non-aromatic} = 2 \\ \text{Aromatic} = 4 \\ \text{Anti-aromatic}= 6 \end{cases} \)
