\((v,h)\) is an interval representing all real numbers between v and h excluding v and h.
\([v,h]\) is an interval representing all real numbers between v and h including v and h.
\((v,h]\) is an interval representing all real numbers between v and h excluding v .
\([v,h)\) is an interval representing all real numbers between v and h excluding h.
