The equilibrium constant $$K_{p}$$ of the reaction $2\text{SO}_{2}(g)\quad +\quad \text{O}_{2}(g) \quad \iff \quad 2\text{SO}_{3}(g)$ is 900 atm at 800 K. A mixture containing $$\text{SO}_{3}$$ and $$\text{O}_{2}$$ having initial pressure of 1 and 2 atm respectively is heated at constant volume to equilibrium. Calculate the sum of the partial pressures of all gases at 800 K.

Unit of partial pressure is atm.
