The wider part of that meter has a cross-sectional area equal to that of the artery and has magnitude \(8\text{ mm}^2\). The narrower part has an area of \(4 \text{ mm}^2\). The pressure drop in the artery is 24 pascals. What is the speed of the blood in the artery in \(\text{ms}^{-1}\) ? Give your answer to correct three decimal places.

Take density of blood as \(1.06 \times 10^3 \text{ kg m}^{-3}\).
