Faster faster faster!

The acceleration of athletes in certain sports is very important. For example, in American football times are recorded during sprints after an athlete has run 9 m to measure the acceleration of the athlete. A very fast wide receiver (someone who runs down the field to catch passes thrown to them) will cover those 9 meters in 1.4 seconds. What is the acceleration of the wide receiver in \(\mbox{m/s}^2\,\) assuming the receiver starts from rest and the acceleration is constant?
