Let $$A$$ denote the number of oxygen atoms in compound $$\ce V$$, $$B$$ denote the degree of unsaturation of compound $$\ce V$$, $$C$$ denote the degree of unsaturation of compound $$\ce {Y18}$$, find $$10A+2B+5C$$.

Details and Assumptions:

• The data is sufficient and there exists a unique set of compounds which satisfy this.

• The degree of unsaturation is equal to the number of double bond equivalents (including rings).

• Take major products until and unless specified. Also check the direction of the arrow mark for each reaction.

• There is a compound $$\ce { N2}$$ in between the reaction, it is not nitrogen gas but its some other compound.

• Start from where its mentioned in the problem, clues are present all over the page and also try and find all the compounds.
