Gravity Pulley problem

A body of mass m1=12kg\text{m}_{ 1 }\text{=12kg} placed on a smooth horizontal table. It is connected to a string which passes over a friction less pulley and carries another body of mass 2=8kg\text{m }_{ 2 }\text{=8kg} at the other end. Calculate the acceleration produced in the bodies when the nail fixed on the table to hold m1\text{m}_{ 1 } is removed.
