Two bodies of weight 2 W and 3 W are connected with a light string coinciding on the line of the greatest slope of a rough plane , the two coefficients of friction between the two bodies and the plane are 1/4 and 1/6 respectively. If theta is the measure of the angle of inclination of the plane , and this measure increases gradually . Show which of the two bodies should be put below the other to move together and the string connecting them is is tensioned , give reason then prove that tan theta = 1/5 when the two bodies are about to slide
