# I'm noble, don't touch me!

Chemistry Level 1

The noble gases make a group of chemical elements with similar properties: under standard conditions, they are all odorless, colorless, monatomic gases with very low chemical reactivity. The six noble gases that occur naturally are helium ($$\ce{He}$$), neon ($$\ce{Ne}$$), argon ($$\ce{Ar}$$), krypton ($$\ce{Kr}$$), xenon ($$\ce{Xe}$$), and the radioactive radon ($$\ce{Rn}$$). Other than helium, the valence electron numbers of noble gases are all the same. What is it?
