# Interval or discrete values ??!!

Calculus Level 5

Let $$x_1,x_2,x_2,.....,x_n$$ be $$n$$ real values of $$p$$ for which the least value of $$4x^2-4px+p^2-2p+2$$ on the interval $$0 \leq x \leq 2$$ is equal to 3. Find the value of

$\dfrac{x_1+x_2+x_3+....+x_n}{n}.$

Note: Answer to 3 decimal points.
