# Magnetic properties of Conics

**Electricity and Magnetism**Level 4

Consider two current carrying conductors, Both carrying current I.

One of the conductor is in shape of an ellipse with semi-major axis a and semi minor axis b. Let magnetic field due to this conductor at one of its focus be \( { B }_{ e } \)

The shape of the other conductor is a circle with radius R. The magnetic field due to this conductor at its center is \( { B }_{ c }\)

Find \( \frac { { B }_{ e } }{ { B }_{ c } } \)

Given

\( a=5\quad m \)

\( b=1\quad m \)

\( R=5\quad m \)

All units are in SI units
