Multiverse HuckelChemistry Level 2
In our world 2 electrons can be filled a molecular orbital. Assume that you are Old Spock who has jumped over to a parallel universe where 3 electrons can be filled in a molecular orbital. Assuming that this doesn't affect the formation of the orbitals in any way, how will Huckel's Rule change?
(Question from NSEC 2015)
Assume that spock (you) have now gained the ability to jump into different universes where the number of electrons that can in a molecular orbital is k. Can you generalize Huckel's Rule assuming there are no ill effects on the formation of the orbitals.
