The above figure shows an irregular material of refractive index \(\sqrt{2}\). A ray of light strikes the surface AB as shown in the figure. After refraction it is incident on a spherical surface CD of radius of curvature 0.4 m and enters medium of refractive index 1.514 to meet PQ at E. Find the distance OE.

Find the answer upto two decimal places.

All measurement are in meters.

Refractive index on the right side of the glass slab is 1.514.

The ray initially is in vacuum.
