Ozonolysis.

Chemistry Level 2

A compound \(\ce { (CH_3)2 C = CH CH = CH CH_3 }\) undergoes ozonolysis reaction as follows :

\[\ce { (CH3)2 C = CH CH = CH CH_3 -> A \ (stable \ triozonide \ intermediate) }\]

The reagent used in the above reaction is \(\ce {O3}\).

\(\ce {A}\) then follows three separate reactions as follows :

\[\begin{align} & 1) \ \ce { A -> CH3COCH3 + CHO-CHO + CH3CHO } \\ & 2) \ \ce { A -> CH3CHOHCH3 + CH2OH-CH2OH + C2H5OH } \\ & 3) \ \ce { A -> CH3COCH3 + COOH-COOH + CH3COOH } \end{align}\]

Select the most suitable set of reagents for the above three reactions in the same order as that of the reactions above.
