Release Your Inner Sherlock! (Deductive Reasoning) #1
A teacher who teaches fifth graders finds a 500 Rupee note lying around in the classroom. She assumes that it belongs to one of her students and, good natured as she is, decides to return it. She announces this during her class and asks as to who owns the 500 Rupee note. To her surprise, two students claim that it to belongs to them. Obviously, one of them is lying. Upon interrogation, this is what they have to say
A: It is mine, I remember keeping it in my maths textbook between the pages 23 and 24.
B: It belongs to me! I brought it so I could buy shoes!
Who is lying? A or B?
