Reversible process

Chemistry Level pending

In thermodynamics, a reversible process is a process that can be "reversed" by means of infinitesimal changes in some property of the system without entropy production (i.e. dissipation of energy). A process that is not reversible is called irreversible. Which of the following is a reversible process?

a) The rusting of iron nails when exposed to moisture.

b) A lump of sugar being melt in coffee.

c) The combustion propane gas (C\(_3\)H\(_8\)) producing carbon dioxide and water.
