A small mass is thrown with a velocity of $$2\text{ m/s}$$ towards the rod at a distance of $$L/3$$ from the centre of the rod. The rod is hinged at the centre.

You are given that the mass is $$6 \text{ kg}$$. Length of the rod is $$3\text{ m}$$ and the mass of the small object is $$3\text{ kg}.$$

Find the angular velocity of the rod after this impact (in $$\text{rad/s}$$).
