# Spring and collision

As shown above, object $$A$$ with mass $$2$$ kg is fixed on the right end of a spring, the other end of which is fixed on the left wall. It takes $$10$$ N of force to stretch this spring by $$0.1$$ m. Now, another object $$B$$ with the same mass is moving towards $$A.$$ If the two objects collide and are agglomerated as one body, then how long will it take for the one body to reach the maximum compression?
